DIY Aloe Vera Water

Aloe Vera Water/Juice

A delicious & refreshing summer or all year round drink!

This is a very simple and healthy drink with an abundance of benefits. As a Floridian, I love drinking Aloe Vera water during hot summer days (although here in Miami, it’s always summer, so drink it all year round). It helps keep me refreshed and recharged when the heat is beyond bearable. I like to prepare the water and place it in the fridge for about 15 to 20 mins before drinking it, this way it’s cold and revitalizing.

Benefits: Drinking Aloe Vera helps keep your body balanced. It has a high concentration of alkalinity, it promotes a healthy liver, helps with constipation, increases hydration, promotes clear and healthy skin, contains many vitamins and minerals such as: Vitamin B, C, E, Folic acid, zinc, also contains many enzymes that help keep your digestive system healthy and much more.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Aloe Vera
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 tsp Honey (or sweetener of choice)

Directions:

  1. Mix 2 cups of water and 2 tbsp Aloe Vera into a blender.
  2. Pour water into glass, add 2 tsp Honey
  3. Place in fridge for about 15-20 mins until cool or simply add some ice cubes.
  4. Drink & Enjoy!
