DIY “MIRACLE” EYE SERUM

Hello Everyone!

Hope all is going well! I fortunately finished cooking early today; yay! So I decided to write this post quickly before Iftar (Ramadan meal to break our fast). I wanted to try this serum before sharing it so it took a few weeks of testing!

My aunt was over a few months ago from Cuba and shared an awesome recipe one of her friends, who is a dermatologist, recommended. This awesome mixture of organic ingredients are great for anyone who is suffering from tired under-eyes, but best of all, it is highly used for older women to treat fine lines and puffy eyes. My mom is a workaholic and is always busy and on the go, I wanted to make this especially for her. This serum is perfect for workaholic and simply exhausted people. If you’re that type of person, try this! My mom is loving it, and I have tried it myself and I love it too. Plus, it’s a great anti-aging serum (kick those premature fine lines goodbye!)

Ingredients:

  • Sweet Almond Oil 1 TBSP
  • Vitamin E Oil 1 TBSP
  • 1 Collagen Capsule
  • Evening Primrose Oil 1 TBSP

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together and massage mixture gently for 3-5 minutes to your under-eyes.
  2. You can also simply apply a bit of the serum to your under-eyes without massaging.
  3. Make sure to use this routinely as an overnight treatment for best visible results!

TIP: I like to use a glass perfume roller to store the serum and roll it gently on my under-eye. You can also store it in a small glass jar.

So why these ingredients?

Sweet Almond oil is well-known for aiding us with dark circles. Using this oil alone can improve your under-eye area in as little as 2 weeks. Its anti-aging, which means it will reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging and its rich in vitamin E, which helps repair the damaged collagen. Collagen is an important protein in maintaining our skins natural elasticity, keeping it fine and soft. Evening Primrose oil is great and rich with anti-aging properties. It’s also a great treatment for people with skin disorders and dehydrated skin, as it stimulates blood circulation. And last, Vitamin E oil helps reduce wrinkles and keeps the skin looking young and smooth. It is antioxidant rich and helps to block free radicals that damage our skin and in part speed up the aging process.

Try it for yourself, it’s also a great gift for your mom, dad, aunt/uncle, sister/brother or friend.

Hope you like it!

With Love, Claudia!
