BLUEBERRY CALMING MASK

Howdy,

I’ve been away for a while after storm Irma. I decided to take some time away from the internet to focus on helping around and fixing our place. And, indeed these past 2 weeks have been STRESSFUL! But what’s better than a Spa day after a long week of stress? So, I decided to come back with my favorite summer calming mask.

Blueberry Calming Mask

Ingredients:

  • ½ a cup of Blueberries
  • 2 TBSPS Honey
  • 2 TSPS Coconut Oil
  • Optional – 2 TSPS Brown Sugar

Directions:

  1. Blend the ingredients together to form a paste.
  2. Apply to your face and leave on for 20 to 25 mins, and enjoy!
  3. If you add sugar, you can use it as a face mask and scrub. While rinsing it off with lukewarm water, gently massage your skin.

I love this face mask because it leaves my skin bright, smooth and feeling absolutely beautiful. Blueberries are packed with Vitamin A, C and E. They are anti-aging, reduces blemishes and acne and are rich in antioxidants. But remember, the best way to get all the wonderful benefits of blueberries, is by eating them. So, make a smoothie while you’re at it! Honey is anti-aging, anti-bacterial, it boosts complexion, heals acne and other blemishes, smooths and adds a natural glow to your skin. Coconut oil is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, it’s a great moisturizer, helps with acne and other signs of aging.

P.S You can also use Olive oil (a common item in your pantry) instead of Coconut oil.
